Review Policy

If you are an author or a publishing house, then I am always happy to accept books for review consideration.

I accept self-published as well as traditionally published books.

If you would like me to review a book then please consider that all my reviews are my opinion and are honest to what I thought of the book at the time I read it.

I try not to include criticism, but even if I didn’t enjoy the novel I always try to find something positive to say as well.

I love to read:

I primarily read fiction but I do try my best to read a wide range of genres and authors.  Some of my most-read genres:

• Fantasy

• Horror

• Thriller/Mystery

• Autobiographical Works

• Science-Fiction/Fantasy

• Children's books

I particular enjoy books written on the the Black American experiences, and I also enjoy reading books which deal poignant real issues with a happy ending. 

I do not read books whose main message is LGBT, extreme violence and erotica. I do enjoy a nice love story.

What Should You Include In Your Review Request

• In the title of the email address it as a review request to ensure it doesn’t get missed

• Synopsis/ info on the book

• A time frame if you have one/ need reviewed at a specific time. I will try to meet it but will not guarantee.

I read books because I enjoy reading; therefore I do not charge, but any donations to help me accomplish my own writing journey and the cost of my web page is greatly appreciated.
